Wir haben "Ja" gesagt!

Der 24. April 2010 war unser großer Tag. Nach einem halben Jahr Brainstorming, Planung und Organisation war es endlich so weit. Wir haben viel gelacht, diskutiert, entwickelt und wieder verworfen.

Mit dem Ergebnis waren wir sehr zufrieden, denn unser Hochzeitstag war genauso, wie wir ihn uns vorgestellt hatten: Voller Freude, Liebe und Lachen. Mit Licht und Sonnenschein. Und immer mit netten Menschen, die uns am Herz liegen.

Saying „Yes“ – For Our English Friends

The 24 April 2010 was our Special Day.

After getting engaged in Camps Bay, Cape Town, in October 2009 (click right under “der Antrag”) we officially got married in the registry office in Bad Soden’s Town Park (“Auf dem Standesamt”) in the presence of our parents and witnesses. The spiritual ceremony in Claudia’s church in Frankfurt (“In der Kirche”) which was so important to us was followed by the reception in the nearby Holzhausen park (“Empfang im ….”). In the evening we celebrated at Castle Laubach (“Unsere Porträts” and “Die Feier in der Herrenscheune”). The day after, the hard core group of remaining guests were treated to a tour round the old town of Laubach by an 18^th century local official (“Der Tag danach”).
